To install the CHORTAU B-T13 Dual Dash Cam in your car, follow these steps:
1. Front camera installation:
- Connect the car charger with the camera.
- Hide the extra cable into the interior panel.
2. Rear camera installation:
- There are two ways to run the wire for the rear cam: inside the car or outside the car.
- After wiring the rear cam cable, connect the rear cam with the rear cam cable.
3. Two situations you may encounter:
- Situation 1: If your car does not have a built-in reverse system monitor display screen and you need the dash cam's reverse function, connect the rear cam cable's red wire to the car reversing lamp positive terminal. This will switch the display screen to the full rearview when you reverse the car.
- Situation 2: If your car already has a reverse system display monitor, and you only need the dash cam to record the rear view while driving, ignore the rear cam cable's red wire. The dash cam display screen will always show a picture-in-picture view of both the front and rear view.
4. Fix the rear cam on the license plate.
