To connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your Xbox One console, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your Xbox One console.
2. Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on. The Xbox button will flash to indicate that the controller is searching for a connection.
3. On your Xbox One console, press the sync button located on the front of the console. It is a small circular button located to the left of the disc tray.
4. Within 20 seconds, press and hold the sync button on the top of the controller until the Xbox button flashes rapidly. This will put the controller into pairing mode.
5. The Xbox One console will detect the controller and assign it to a specific player profile. The Xbox button on the controller will stay lit once it is connected.
Note: If the controller does not connect, try pressing the sync button on the console and the sync button on the controller again.
