To clean the grease filters, follow these steps:
1. Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Remove the grease filters from the hood. They are usually located underneath the hood, either on the sides or at the bottom.
3. Wash the grease filters in warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Alternatively, you can soak the filters in a degreasing agent for an hour.
4. Rinse off the filters thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before re-installing them.
5. It is recommended to clean the grease filters at least once a month to maintain their efficiency in eliminating heat and contaminated air in the kitchen.
Note: Heavy oil deposits on the grease filters can be a fire hazard, so regular cleaning is important.
