To install the LUMASCAPE LS2022 Centria C2 Foundation Spotlight, please follow the instructions provided in the installation guide. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Gather the required tools: You will need a 4mm Allen Key and Cable Glands, which are included with the product.
2. Ensure safety: Before starting the installation, make sure to read and follow all safety instructions provided in the manual. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
3. Choose the installation type: The LS2022 Centria C2 Foundation Spotlight is designed for ground mount installation. Make sure to select a suitable location for installation.
4. Prepare the electrical connections: All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician. Ensure that the supply voltage is within the specified range (220-240 ~Vac, 50 Hz or 120/277 ~Vac, 60 Hz) and comply with local electrical rules and regulations.
5. Mount the luminaire: Position the luminaire on the top of a horizontal surface. Take care when setting the luminaire as it may become hot during operation.
6. Use a protective shield: The luminaire should only be used complete with a protective shield. If the protective shield is cracked, immediately stop using the luminaire and contact Lumascape for a replacement.
7. Connect the wiring: The LS2022 Centria C2 Foundation Spotlight has a non-dimming wiring designation. The active wire is brown, the neutral wire is blue, and the earth wire is green/yellow. Ensure that the connections are clean and dry at all times.
8. Maintain cleanliness: Keep the luminaire clean and free of debris. Only clean it with warm water, avoiding the use of chemicals or abrasives that may void the warranty.
9. Follow additional precautions: Avoid staring directly at the operating light source and position the luminaire to prevent prolonged staring at a distance closer than 26 feet (8 meters). Ensure that the mains input power is surge protected and never make or break connections while the circuit is energized.
10. Warranty requirements: To maintain the warranty, do not make modifications or alterations to the product. Also, do not allow soil, fill, or any material to build up around the luminaire.
