To install the LUMASCAPE LS9142 Quadralux Q4 Foundation Spotlight, please follow the instructions below:
1. Ensure that you read and understand all safety instructions provided in the manual. Failure to comply with these instructions may void the warranty.
2. Make sure that the installation complies with local electrical rules and regulations. All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician.
3. Before starting the installation, ensure that you have all the necessary tools and components included in the package. These may include a 6 mm Allen Key, Bracket, Washer Plate, Lanyard Attachment, and the luminaire itself.
4. Take caution as all luminaires may become hot. Choose a suitable mounting location and handle the luminaire with care to avoid burns.
5. The luminaire should only be used with its protective shield. If the shield is cracked, stop using the luminaire immediately. Isolate the light source, keep it dry, and contact Lumascape for a replacement.
6. If the external flexible cable or cord of the luminaire is damaged, it should be replaced exclusively by Lumascape or their service agent to avoid hazards.
7. The light source contained in the luminaire should only be replaced by Lumascape or their service agent.
8. Avoid staring directly at the operating light source. Position the luminaire in a way that prolonged staring into the luminaire at a distance closer than 55 feet (17 meters) is not expected.
9. Ensure that the mains input power is surge protected.
10. Never make or break connections while the circuit is energized.
11. Do not make modifications or alter the product in any way.
12. Keep the luminaire clean and free of debris. Only clean it with warm water and avoid using chemicals or abrasives that may void the warranty.
13. Keep the connections clean and dry at all times.
14. The luminaire is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
