Cleaning the Thermomix TM6 is important to ensure its proper functioning and hygiene. Here are the steps to clean the appliance and its accessories:
1. Disassemble the mixing bowl: Hold the mixing bowl with the opening facing upwards. Turn the mixing bowl base 30 degrees clockwise and pull it downwards. The mixing knife will remain in the mixing bowl. Carefully hold the upper part of the mixing knife and remove it along with its sealing ring.
2. Clean the mixing bowl, mixing knife, and accessories: Wash all parts and accessories by hand or in the dishwasher (except for the base unit). Use warm water and dish soap to clean them thoroughly. You can place plastic parts, such as the mixing bowl lid, in the top rack of the dishwasher to avoid deformation.
3. Clean the base unit: Use a dry or damp cloth to clean the base unit. Do not pour water over the base unit or let water or dirt enter it. Make sure to unplug the appliance from the outlet before cleaning the base unit.
4. Dry all components: After cleaning, make sure to thoroughly dry all washed components and accessories before reassembling them or storing them.
Note: It is important to follow the cleaning instructions provided in the Thermomix TM6 instruction manual. Using other cleaners may damage the surface finish of the appliance.
