To install the Genmitsu 10W Compressed Spot Laser Fixed Focus Module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare your 4mm ID (7mm Outer Diameter) Air line tubing and connect one end to the air assist nozzle and the other end to the air pump (if available).
2. Choose the correct laser module adapter plate for your machine and fix the laser module onto the adapter plate using four M3*6 screws.
3. Install the adapter plate onto your machine using four M3 screws.
4. If you are not using the air assist feature, you can remove the air assist nozzle by unplugging the air tubing and loosening the xxxx that fixes the nozzle. Turn the nozzle counter-clockwise to remove it.
5. Connect the laser control board to your machine's controller using the corresponding connection cable. Make sure you have selected the correct cable before connecting.
6. After the laser cable is connected, ensure that the laser cable and the laser module connection end are fixed firmly to avoid any damage.
7. To focus the laser, loosen the two screws fixing the laser shield and move the shield to the specified angle. Place the focus calibration tool between the laser module and the workpiece and drop the laser module down to the calibration tool to set the focal length to 40mm. Remove the calibration tool and pull the laser shield down.
8. Check that the fan and laser are working properly when the machine is powered on. Ensure that you have used the correct cable to connect the laser module and the machine controller, and that the connection is secure.
