To properly use the Milwaukee M12 CC Compact Cable Cutter, follow these steps:
1. Before starting any work, make sure to read all safety warnings and instructions in the user manual.
2. Wear ear protectors to prevent hearing loss and goggles to protect your eyes. It is also recommended to wear gloves, sturdy non-slipping shoes, and an apron.
3. Keep your hands and loose clothes away from all cutting edges and moving parts to avoid injury.
4. Do not cut short pieces of material that put your fingers near the blades, as the blades are sharp.
5. Do not cut steel with the cable cutter.
6. To reduce the risk of explosion, electric shock, and property damage, never cut gas lines, electrical lines, or full water lines. Always shut off water and drain lines before making a cut.
7. Remove the battery pack before starting any work on the machine. Do not dispose of used battery packs in the household refuse or by burning them. Contact Milwaukee Distributors to retrieve old batteries for proper disposal.
8. Do not store the battery pack together with metal objects to avoid the risk of a short circuit.
9. Use only System C12 chargers for charging System C12 battery packs. Do not use battery packs from other systems.
10. In case of contact with battery acid, wash it off immediately with soap and water. If there is eye contact, rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
11. The cable cutter is designed for cutting copper cable or aluminum cable. Do not use it for any other purpose.
12. Follow the specified conditions of use and do not use the product in any other way than stated for normal use.
