To use the UV Protect feature on the Haier HWF80AN1 washing machine, follow these steps:
1. Load your laundry into the washing machine and add detergent as usual.
2. Select the desired wash cycle by turning the cycle selector xxxx to the appropriate setting. The UV Protect feature can be used with any wash cycle.
3. Press the UV Protect button on the control panel to activate the UV light. The UV Protect indicator light will illuminate.
4. Adjust any other settings, such as temperature and spin speed, if desired.
5. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
The UV Protect feature utilizes UV light to help kill more than 99.99% of bacteria and uses a low wash temperature for long-lasting fabric care. It is recommended to use this feature for items that require extra hygiene, such as baby clothes, towels, or underwear.
