To use the UV Protect feature on the Haier HWF10AN1 washing machine, follow these steps:
1. Load your laundry into the washing machine and add detergent as usual.
2. Select the desired wash cycle by turning the program selector xxxx to the appropriate setting. The UV Protect feature can be used with any wash cycle.
3. Press the UV Protect button on the control panel to activate the UV Protect feature. The UV Protect indicator light will illuminate.
4. Adjust any other desired settings such as temperature, spin speed, or soak time.
5. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
During the wash cycle, the UV Protect feature will utilize UV light to help kill more than 99.99% of bacteria on your fabrics. It does this by using a low wash temperature for long-lasting fabric care. The UV Protect feature is especially useful for sanitizing items such as towels, bedding, or baby clothes.
