To connect the AJAX Relay to your AJAX hub, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your hub is switched on and has a stable internet connection.
2. Install the AJAX app on your smartphone and create an account.
3. Add the hub to the app and create at least one room.
4. Make sure that the hub is not armed and not updating by checking its status in the AJAX app.
5. Connect the AJAX Relay to a 12V or 24V power supply.
6. Only users with administrator rights can add a device to the app.
7. In the AJAX app, click on "Add device".
8. Name the device, scan the QR code on the Relay's case or enter it manually, and select the room.
9. Click "Add" and a countdown will begin.
10. Press the functional button on the Relay.
For the detection and pairing process to occur, the Relay should be within the coverage area of the hub's wireless network. The connection request is transmitted only when the device is switched on. If the pairing fails, wait for 30 seconds and then try again. The Relay will appear in the list of hub devices, and its status will update based on the ping interval set in the hub settings.
Please note that only qualified electricians should install the Relay, and it is compatible only with ocBridge Plus AJAX hubs.
