To turn on the Vont VNT-CL02 LED Camping Lantern, simply install the included batteries and turn the device on. The on/off switch is not a button but a lever that you need to pull up. Once you pull up the lever all the way, the lantern will emit light in 360 degrees. If you want a dimmer light, you can pull the lever halfway. The lantern is designed to be simple to use, even in the dark.
