To set the time and date on the DET-306 infrared thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the thermometer is turned off.
2. Press and hold the START button for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode.
3. Set the time format by pressing the START button to select either the AM/PM (12-hour) or 24:00 (24-hour) format.
4. Press the BUTTON to confirm the time format selection. The hour figure will start flashing.
5. Press the START button to advance one hour at a time until the correct hour appears.
6. Press the BUTTON to confirm the hour selection. The minute figure will start flashing.
7. Press the START button to advance one minute at a time until the correct minute appears.
8. Press the BUTTON to confirm the minute selection. The year figure will start flashing.
9. Press the START button to advance one year at a time until the correct year appears.
10. Press the BUTTON to confirm the year selection. The month figure will appear.
11. Press the START button to advance one month at a time until the correct month appears.
12. Press the BUTTON to confirm the month selection. The date figure will start flashing.
13. Press the START button to advance one day at a time until the correct date appears.
14. Press the BUTTON to confirm the date selection.
15. Press the BUTTON again to exit the setting mode.
