To connect the Summerset TRLPB2 TRL Series Built-In Side Power Burner to a propane tank, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Ensure that the gas supply shut-off valve is in the closed position.
2. Insert the regulator inlet into the cylinder valve of the propane tank.
3. Turn the black coupling nut clockwise until it is hand-tight. Do not over-tighten the connection.
4. To disconnect the coupling nut, first make sure the main cylinder valve is turned off. Then, grasp the coupling nut and turn it counterclockwise to disengage the inlet.
5. After connecting the propane tank, perform a leak test. Prepare a leak-testing solution of soap and water in a spray bottle (50% solution). Spray the solution on all of the pipe joints, fittings, and hose. If any bubbles form, there is a gas leak. In this case, turn off the gas supply immediately and call a certified/qualified professional to repair the gas leak. Do not attempt to use the power burner until the leak is fixed.
Please refer to the "Connecting to the LP Tank" section in the Summerset TRLPB2 TRL Series Built-In Side Power Burner Instruction Manual for more detailed instructions and safety precautions.
