To adjust the browning level on the HADEN HT401070-US Dorset 4 Slice Toaster, follow these steps:
1. Plug the toaster into an electrical outlet and make sure the crumb tray is in place.
2. Set the desired browning level by turning the variable browning control xxxx . There are 6 positions, with "1" being the lightest and "6" being the darkest.
3. Place the bread slices into the toasting slots. You can toast up to four slices at a time.
4. Press the carriage handle down vertically until it latches into position. The Cancel Function indicator light will be illuminated, indicating that the toaster is in operation.
5. The toaster will automatically toast the bread to the preset browning level. Once the toast reaches the desired color, the carriage handle will pop up, indicating that the toasting is complete.
6. If you want to cancel the toasting process at any time, you can press the Cancel button. However, it is recommended not to lift the carriage handle to cancel toasting.
7. Remove the toast by lifting the carriage handle slightly.
