To ignite the burners on the Haier HCG302WFCX3 gas cooktop, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the gas supply is turned on and the cooktop is properly connected to the gas source.
2. Ensure that all burner dials are in the "Off" position.
3. Push in and turn the desired burner dial counterclockwise to the "Ignite" position. You will hear a clicking sound, indicating that the electronic ignition is working.
4. Continue to hold the dial in the "Ignite" position for a few seconds until the burner ignites.
5. Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame intensity by turning the dial to the desired heat level.
Please note that if the flame is accidentally extinguished while cooking, the cooktop is equipped with a flame failure safety system. This system will automatically turn off the gas supply to ensure your safety. In such cases, you will need to turn the burner dial to the "Off" position and wait a few seconds before attempting to reignite the burner.
