To connect the Haoliyuan SBD04 Contact Sensor to your smart gateway, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the smart gateway is added to your system before adding the sub-device (contact sensor).
2. Open the battery cover of the contact sensor and insert the battery into the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
3. Open the "Smart Life" app on your smartphone and navigate to the gateway homepage.
4. Click on "search new device" to initiate the device discovery process.
5. Press and hold the reset button on the contact sensor for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking. This puts the device into configuration mode.
6. In the app, select the option that indicates the light on the device is flashing and follow the in-app instructions to connect the sensor to your gateway.
7. Wait for a few seconds for the device to be successfully added. You can then rename it if desired. Click "Done" to finish the setup.
8. Close the battery cover and place the contact sensor in the desired location. Ensure that the alignment marks on the sensor and the magnet are as close together as possible, with a distance of less than 15mm.
