To set up the SHOWLIGHT SL-480-WA Theatrical Spotlights, please follow these steps:
1. Before using the lamp, check whether the local city voltage meets the range of AC90-240V.
2. Familiarize yourself with the different parts of the fixture, including fixation screws, barndoors, LCD display, function xxxx , power IN, power OUT, DMX OUT, DMX IN, insulated handle, and installation stand.
3. Make sure you have the correct DMX channel mode selected. This fixture has a 7-channel mode and a 4-channel mode. Check the factory setting, which is typically set to 7CH.
4. If you plan to use the RDM function, you must use the console to search each fixture and change the fixture address code in the DMX 512 mode. Each fixture has an identification code, which can be found on the fixture label.
5. In DMX mode, the LED display screen may flicker when there is no DMX 512 signal input. The LED display will light up when the DMX 512 signal is input.
6. The fixture can be controlled using DMX512, RDM, or Master/Slave operation. Make sure you have the appropriate connections for power (PowerCON IN & OUT) and DMX (3-Pin DMX IN & OUT, 5-Pin DMX available).
7. The fixture operates on electronic full-range AC 100-240V 50/60Hz. Make sure the working temperature is within the range of -20℃ to 40℃ (-4°F to 104°F).
8. Before using the fixture, check whether the dimming and brightness function is turned on. The factory setting is usually on. This function should be checked if the fixture does not turn on when the lamp is turned on.
9. The fixture also has a color temperature function (Colortemp) that can be adjusted from 3200K to 5600K in master-slave mode. Make sure to follow the instructions in the manual for using this function.
10. The control board on the fixture allows you to adjust various settings. Use the MENU, Enter, Down, and Up buttons to navigate through the menus and adjust the relevant functions. Press Enter and MENU to quit the current menu and move to the next menu.
11. If using the fixture in Master/Slave mode, set the master to Dimming mode or Strobe mode, and set all slaves to DMX001.
12. The fixture has two DMX channel mode options: 7-channel mode and 4-channel mode. Refer to the manual for the specific functions and settings for each channel.
13. The manual also provides a DMX levels table for the color temperature function, which shows the corresponding DMX levels for different color temperatures.
Please refer to the SHOWLIGHT SL-480-WA Theatrical Spotlights Instruction Manual for more detailed instructions and information.
