To pair the Satellite 18036 Ceiling Fan Remote Controller with your ceiling fan, follow these steps:
1. Install two AAA 1.5V batteries in the transmitter.
2. Within 30 seconds of turning on the AC power to the receiver, press the LEARN button on the transmitter.
3. Hold the LEARN button for about 3 seconds. Once the receiver detects the ID, the ceiling fan's light will blink twice, and the fan will turn on at low speed. This indicates that the receiver has learned the ID selected on the transmitter.
- Note: If the 0/1 switch on the back of the transmitter is in the "0" state, the ceiling fan can be directly controlled without pairing. If the switch is in the "1" state, you need to proceed with the learning process.
4. After completing the steps above, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan and light using the transmitter.
- If the ceiling fan is not responding to the transmitter, turn off the power to the receiver and repeat steps 1 and 2.
Please make sure to remove the batteries from the transmitter if it will not be used for long periods of time to prevent damage. When disposing of the transmitter, ensure that the batteries are safely disposed of as well.
