To clean the steam chamber of the BRAYER BR4003 Brown Iron, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the iron is switched off and cold, and the power plug is not connected to the mains socket.
2. Open the water inlet lid and fill the water tank with water up to the maximum mark.
3. Place the iron on its base and insert the power plug into the mains socket.
4. Set the temperature control xxxx to the maximum position, and wait for the iron soleplate to reach the set temperature.
5. Once the iron soleplate is heated, remove the power plug from the mains socket.
6. Position the iron horizontally over a sink and turn the continuous steam supply xxxx to the self-cleaning position.
7. Hold the xxxx in this position, and boiling water and steam with scale will be released from the soleplate openings.
8. Slightly sway the iron back and forth until all the water leaves the water tank.
9. Place the iron on its base and let the soleplate cool down completely.
10. After the soleplate is cooled, wipe it with a dry cloth.
11. Before storing the iron, make sure the water tank is empty and the soleplate is dry.
Note: It is important to regularly clean the steam chamber, especially in areas with hard tap water, to prevent mineral deposits from affecting the iron's performance.
