To install the Thingsee Environment Rugged sensor, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the Thingsee gateway device is installed before installing the sensors.

2. Identify the sensor by reading the QR code on the front of the device with a QR code reader or the Thingsee installation application on your mobile device. This step is not necessary but can help you keep track of your IoT installation and assist Haltian support in solving any possible issues.

3. Before installation, the sensor is in low power mode, and the LED indicator on the sensor blinks dimly every second. Note that with a white device casing, the LED blinking may be difficult to see.

4. Switch on the sensor by using the magnet switch tool. Hold the magnet switch tool against the sensor's magnetic switch until the LED indicator starts to blink brightly for one minute. When the LED goes off, the sensor is switched on.

Please note that during installation, it is important to avoid installing the Thingsee products near thick concrete structures or fire doors, electrical transformers or thick electrical wires, escalators, nearby heating or cooling devices and vents, direct sunlight, nearby halogen or fluorescent lamps with hot surfaces, nearby radio equipment like WiFi routers, inside metal boxes or covered with metal plates, inside or underneath metal cabinets or boxes, and near elevator motors or similar targets causing a strong magnetic field.
