To install the Hager JKD201SPD Surge Protection Kit, please follow the steps below:
1. Start by screwing the surge protection sub-assembly on the right-hand side of the enclosure using the 4 M5 Hex HT Screws provided. Make sure to tighten the screws to the chassis at 5Nm torque.
2. Connect the L1/L2/L3 cables to the Incomer using the existing incomer bolts provided. Torque the bolts to 13Nm.
3. Connect the neutral cable to the neutral bar on the left side of the MCCB (Main Circuit Breaker).
4. Terminate the neutral cable into the relevant terminals on the SPD (Surge Protection Device).
Please note the following important information:
- The installation of the Hager JKD201SPD Surge Protection Kit should only be carried out by an electrically skilled person who is familiar with national standards and safety regulations.
- Before installation, check the device for any external damage. If any damage or defects are found, do not proceed with the installation.
- The use of the device should strictly adhere to the limits and instructions provided in the installation manual.
- Opening or tampering with the device will void the warranty.
