To install the Lucci decor 011210 Aksel 4 Light Pendant in Brass-Clear, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF before starting any electrical work.
2. Remove all packaging material from the product and make sure not to throw away any accessories hidden within the packaging.
3. Lay the fitting on its side on a smooth non-scratch surface to help with assembly.
4. Determine the length of the suspension rod required for your installation location.
5. Install the required length of suspension rods onto the body of the fitting, using the rod connector to join them together. Make sure the rod connector is threaded into the rod ends at equal lengths.
6. Pull the cord out as you assemble to remove any slack, taking care not to cross-thread or twist and damage the cord.
7. Pull the cord up into the canopy and attach the canopy to the top of the suspension rod.
8. Remove the mounting bracket from the canopy by loosening the nuts.
9. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the xxxx positions on the ceiling.
10. Install the mounting bracket onto the ceiling using appropriately sized mounting screws and anchors. Ensure the screws and anchors used are suitable for the mounting surface and the surrounding environment.
11. Remove the cover from the terminal block and connect the mains supply wire and fitting wires together. Ensure the wires are secure and no bare wires are exposed. Install the cover back over the terminal block.
12. Install the canopy onto the mounting bracket and secure it by tightening the nuts.
13. To adjust the arms, loosen the grub xxxx using the allen key provided. Adjust the angle of the arm to your desired position and tighten the grub xxxx to lock the arm in place. Do not adjust the angle of the arm without first loosening the grub xxxx , as this may damage the locking mechanism and void the warranty.
14. After adjusting all arms to the desired angle, ensure the pendant is balanced and not leaning to one side.
15. Install the globes into the lamp holders, making sure not to exceed the maximum wattage rating.
16. Install the glass shades onto the lamp holders, taking care not to overtighten and damage them. Note that the glass shades are hand-blown, so some variations may occur, which is normal and part of the design quality.
17. Once the installation is complete, switch on the fitting to test and enjoy your new lighting product.
