To change the ISO settings on the Canon 50D DSLR Camera, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the camera and set it to the desired shooting mode (e.g., Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority).
2. Press the ISO button, which is located on the top right side of the camera body, near the shutter button.
3. Use the Main dial (located on the top right side of the camera) or the Quick Control dial (located on the back of the camera) to select the desired ISO value.
4. The ISO range on the Canon 50D is from ISO 100 to ISO 3200. You can also enable the ISO expansion to go up to ISO 6400.
5. As you change the ISO value, it will be displayed on the top LCD panel and the rear LCD screen.
6. Once you have selected the desired ISO value, release the ISO button.
Note: The ISO setting determines the sensitivity of the camera's image sensor to light. Higher ISO values are useful in low-light situations but may introduce more noise or graininess in the image. Lower ISO values are suitable for well-lit conditions and can produce cleaner images.
For more detailed information and illustrations, refer to the Canon 50D DSLR Camera Instruction Manual, specifically the section on "ISO Speed" (page 77 in the provided manual).
