To connect the Yamaha BD-S477 Blu-ray Disc Player to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV and Blu-ray player are turned off and unplugged.
2. Locate the HDMI output port on the back of the Blu-ray player.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output port on the Blu-ray player.
4. Locate an available HDMI input port on your TV.
5. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input port on your TV.
6. Turn on your TV and set it to the correct HDMI input source.
7. Turn on your Blu-ray player and wait for it to power up.
