To install the Flamco MC01103-201605 Flexvent Max Automatic Air Vent in your heating or cooling system, please follow the instructions provided in the manual:
1. Ensure that the system pressure is within the range of 0.2 bar to 10 bar (Flexvent MAX can handle up to 25 bar, Flexvent Pro up to 12 bar) and the system temperature is between -10 °C (with glycol) and +120 °C.
2. It is recommended to have qualified personnel carry out the installation, following local legislation and guidelines.
3. Before installing the Flexvent, flush all debris from the system thoroughly.
4. Choose a suitable location for the Flexvent, preferably at the highest point of the system. It should be installed in a horizontal pipe. Avoid installing it on a rising main.
5. Use sealing tape on the Flexvent or the shut-off valve (if included) to ensure a proper seal.
6. The outlet of the Flexvent has a 22 mm (¾" - Flexvent Pro) connection for a drain. Connect a suitable drain to prevent any water accumulation.
7. After installation, regularly inspect the valve at least once per year. The Flexvent can be closed off by turning the xxxx in the outlet clockwise.
