To connect the BFOUR BF-5 Meat Thermometer to your smartphone, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your smartphone's GPS and Bluetooth are turned on.
2. Press and hold the power button on the thermometer for 3 seconds until the LCD display lights up with two beeps.
3. Insert the probes into the probe socket.
4. Open the Grill 5.0 app on your smartphone.
5. Turn on the "Hcitool scan" feature in the app and wait for it to find the device.
6. Once the device is found, pair it with your phone.
Note: Ensure that both GPS and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone as it is necessary for the connection. If your phone asks for a PIN number, refer to page 5 of the user manual for more details. You can also scan the QR code provided in the manual to watch a video on how to connect and set up the app.
