To assemble the Kenroy Home 32227SL Table Lamp, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the lamp and make sure you have all the parts: finial, rubber washer, shade, harp, and lamp body.
2. Place all parts on a soft surface to protect the finish.
3. Organize and place all parts on a smooth, flat surface according to the assembly diagram.
4. Squeeze the legs of the harp together and insert the two ends between the prongs of the harp holder.
5. Place the shade onto the harp and secure it with the rubber washer and finial.
6. Install a 150 watt maximum medium base type "a" 3-way bulb (not included) into the socket.
7. Plug the power cord into an outlet and turn on the switch.
