To set up the INOGENI 4KX-PLUS 4K to USB 3.0 Converter, follow these steps:
1. Connect the 4KX-PLUS to your computer using the provided USB 3.0 cable.
2. Connect the power supply to the 4KX-PLUS using the provided USB A power supply and the AC interchangeable plug suitable for your region.
3. Connect your video source (e.g., camera, Cisco CODEC) to the HDMI input of the 4KX-PLUS.
4. (Optional) Connect an HDMI display or other device to the HDMI loop out of the 4KX-PLUS.
5. Install the INOGENI Control App on your computer. You can find the application and firmware updates on the INOGENI website.
6. Launch the INOGENI Control App and use it to configure the settings of the 4KX-PLUS, such as device name, USB video resolutions, EDID management, and audio control.
7. Once the settings are configured, you can start capturing 4K video streams by using compatible software on your computer, such as DirectShow, AVFoundation, or V4L2 compatible applications.
