To set up your Nintendo 3DS handheld console for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Charge the console: Connect the included AC adapter to the charging cradle and plug it into a power outlet. Place the console on the charging cradle to charge it fully before initial setup.
2. Power on the console: Press and hold the power button located on the right side of the console until the power LED lights up.
