To connect your LG LAP250H Sound Plate to your TV, you can use either an HDMI or an optical cable. Here are the steps to follow:
1. HDMI Connection:
a. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the Sound Plate.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN (ARC) port on your TV.
c. Make sure that the HDMI-CEC function is enabled on both the Sound Plate and your TV. This allows the Sound Plate to control the volume and power functions of your TV.
d. Set the TV's audio output to the HDMI ARC mode.
2. Optical Connection:
a. Connect one end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on the Sound Plate.
b. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical audio output port on your TV.
c. Set the TV's audio output to the optical mode.
Once the connection is established, you may need to adjust the audio settings on your TV to ensure that the sound is output through the Sound Plate. Refer to your TV's user manual for instructions on how to change the audio output settings.
