Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing the Remo+ RMBL-1809H WiFi Video Doorbell Camera:
1. Check your doorbell voltage and chime: Make sure your doorbell voltage is between 16-24VAC. If you have a mechanical chime, you will need to start the Power Kit Installation process. If you have an electronic chime, refer to its manual for instructions. If you don't have a chime, skip the Power Kit Installation.
2. Power Kit Installation (if applicable):
a. Insert one end of the Wire Harness into the Power Kit.
b. Remove the cover of your mechanical chime and take a picture of the wiring for reference.
c. Loosen the screws and remove the wires from the chime, then straighten the exposed ends.
d. Place the Power Kit in a location that doesn't interfere with moving parts or muffle the chime, using the adhesive backing to hold it in place. Put the chime cover back on.
3. Doorbell Mounting:
a. Remove your existing doorbell and disconnect the wires.
b. Select the appropriate Mount type based on your doorbell location to optimize the camera's viewing angle.
c. (Optional) For hard surfaces like brick or stucco, paste the Mount Foam to the back of your Mount.
d. Insert the Bubble Level into the Mount to straighten it. Mark the drill points on the wall when the bubble is in the middle. Remove the Bubble Level after marking the drill points.
e. Drill holes according to the drill points and insert Anchors.
f. Secure the Mount onto the wall using the Screwdriver and Mounting Screws.
g. If a Power Kit is installed, follow Option A. If you don't have a chime, follow Option B.
- Option A: Connect the RemoBell S with your existing doorbell wires.
- Option B: Connect the Safety Fuse Wire with your existing doorbell wires.
h. Remove the Faceplate and fixate the RemoBell S to the Mount by inserting the Doorbell Screws.
i. Restore power on the breaker box. If the LED Indicator flashes blue, proceed to DoorBell Setup. If not, turn off the power and check the doorbell wiring.
4. Register RemoBell S:
a. Have your Wi-Fi network password available.
b. Log into the remo+ app and press "+" on the home screen to add your device. Select your time zone.
c. Enter the password for the displayed Wi-Fi network and proceed to the QR code scan page.
d. Scan the QR code on the RemoBell S or the cover of the Quick Start Guide when the LED Indicator flashes blue.
e. Switch to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, leaving the remo+ app open. Connect to the network "RemoBellS_xxxxxx" (where "xxxxxx" represents a unique identifier). If it shows "internet is unavailable," tap "okay."
f. Once connected to the RemoBellS_xxxxxx network, switch back to the remo+ app and press continue. The app will complete the registration, which may take up to 3 minutes.
g. Put the Faceplate back on and insert two Security Screws into the Security xxxx Holes to secure the Faceplate.
