To connect the ZPE-BCON-U01 Signal Beacon with Alarm to your device, follow these steps:
1. Locate an available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port on your Nodegrid Serial Consoles, Services Routers, or USB hubs connected to Nodegrid hardware.
2. Connect the USB cable included with the beacon to the USB port on your device.
3. Mount the beacon by screwing it onto a surface where wires can run through. Alternatively, you can use mounting tape. Make sure the orientation of the beacon is parallel to the ground.
4. Ensure that your Nodegrid OS version meets the minimum requirements for the beacon. If not, upgrade your Nodegrid OS to at least version 5.4.1.
