To connect the ZPE-DST-U01 Compact Particulate Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Locate an available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port on your Nodegrid Serial Consoles, Services Routers, or USB hubs connected to Nodegrid hardware.
2. Connect the sensor to the USB port using the included USB cable. The cable is detached and has a Samtec SFSD-05-28-H-5.00-SR connector on one end and a USB Type A connector on the other end. The cable length is 4 meters (13 feet).
3. Ensure that the orientation of the sensor is parallel to the ground when mounting it. You can either xxxx it onto a surface where wires can run through or use mounting tape.
4. Make sure that your Nodegrid OS version meets the sensor requirements. If not, upgrade your Nodegrid OS to a minimum version of 5.4.1.
