To connect the ZUMIMALL ZS-GX1S wireless outdoor security camera to the app, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your phone is connected to the same 2.4G Wi-Fi network that you want to connect the camera to. The camera only works with 2.4G Wi-Fi and does not support 5G.
2. Open the ZUMIMALL app on your phone and sign up for a new account using your email.
3. Insert a Micro SD card into the camera to save video clips (up to 128GB) or choose the 7-day free cloud service. Without an SD card or cloud service, no video will be saved.
4. Fully charge the camera before first use.
5. On the app, tap on "Add Camera" and follow the on-screen instructions to put the camera into pairing mode.
6. Once the camera is in pairing mode, use the app to scan the QR code on the camera or manually enter the camera's ID to add it to the app.
7. The app will prompt you to allow ZUMIMALL to access your mobile cellular data and wireless LAN. Grant these permissions to ensure a successful connection.
8. After the camera is successfully added to the app, you can view the live feed, adjust camera settings, and receive motion detection alerts on your phone.
Note: It is important to have a strong Wi-Fi signal (at least 80-85%) where you install the camera to ensure its normal functioning. Additionally, make sure to follow the recommended guidelines for reducing false alarms, such as avoiding installation in positions facing strong lights/mirrors/windows/swimming pools and keeping the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices to avoid interference.
