To install the MiniMag-1180 CB6025 CD Magnetic Mount Antenna, follow these steps:

1.  xxxx  the antenna whip onto the thread of the magnetic base.
2. Find a plain, even, and thoroughly cleaned metal surface on your vehicle's roof or trunk to attach the magnetic base. It is recommended to place the antenna in the middle of the selected surface for optimal adjustment.
3. Do not remove the protective foil under the magnetic base. The bottom of the magnetic base is covered with a rubber cover to protect your car's finish.
4. Run the antenna cable through the window or door of your vehicle. Ensure that you do not excessively bend the cable and avoid extending or shortening it to prevent difficulties with antenna and radio adaptation.
5. Connect the PL jack at the end of the cable with the CB radio.
6. By default, the antenna is already adjusted for the 27 MHz frequency range. However, differences in vehicle types and antenna placement can affect its efficiency. Fine-tuning may enhance the performance of the system.
7. It is recommended to check the SWR ratio using an SWR-meter, such as the TEAM SWR-1180 series. If adaptation is necessary, open the allen  xxxx  at the top of the antenna coil and adjust the antenna whip further in or out until the best SWR ratio is achieved.
