To install the TOUCAN TCNTVD200WU Wireless Video Doorbell Camera, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select a location near your front door that provides a clear view of the area you want to monitor. Ensure that the mounting surface is sturdy and level.
2. Mount the doorbell camera: Use the included wall mount and screws to securely attach the doorbell camera to the chosen location. Make sure it is positioned at a height that allows for optimal viewing.
3. Connect the doorbell camera to the Toucan App: Download and install the Toucan App on your mobile device. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and connect the doorbell camera to your Wi-Fi network.
4. Install the wireless doorbell chime: Place the wireless doorbell chime inside your home within range of the doorbell camera. It should be plugged into a power outlet for operation.
5. Test the doorbell camera: Once the installation is complete, test the doorbell camera by pressing the doorbell button or triggering the motion detection. You should receive instant notifications on your mobile phone and be able to see and communicate with visitors using the two-way talk feature.
