To switch between the External Signal Mode and Internal Signal Mode on the DYN-IS-20 Inertial Shaker, you need to use the Gain xxxx .
1. External Signal Mode:
- Connect the DC power source and drive signal to the shaker power input and signal input, respectively.
- Start the external signal source.
- Push the Gain xxxx inwards.
- Adjust the Gain of the amplifier by turning the Gain xxxx clockwise.
2. Internal Signal Mode:
- Connect the DC power source and drive signal to the shaker power input.
- Pull the Gain xxxx outwards.
- Raise or lower the Sine Frequency Generator Switch to the desired Sine frequency.
- Adjust the Gain of the amplifier by turning the Gain xxxx clockwise.
- The frequency of the generated sine signal will be visible on the LCD Screen.
Please note that before connecting the external signal cable or changing operational modes, it is advised to turn the Gain xxxx counter clockwise to the lowest gain position to protect the amplifier from electrical problems.
