To install the battery in the PRO SERIES PUMPS 360 Water Alarm, you will need a Philips screwdriver, flat screwdriver, and a new 9V battery. Follow these steps:
1. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the xxxx in the battery cover located on the side of the water alarm.
2. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the battery cover.
3. Pull the wires out and snap the 9V battery onto the connector.
4. Place the battery back in the compartment.
5. To ensure a waterproof closure of the battery cover, insert the bottom of the battery cover first, then close the top of the battery cover.
6. Tighten the xxxx to secure the battery cover.
Please refer to the instruction manual for visual illustrations of the battery installation process.
Note: It is recommended to test the water alarm after installing the battery by touching any adjacent two metal pads with your fingers. An audible alarm should sound as long as you keep both fingers on the metal pads. It is also recommended to test the water alarm every 6 months to ensure the battery is still good and replace the battery as needed.
