To install the VENTIS Stream, Stream EC Inline Mixed Flow Fans, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary theoretical and practical training in the field of ventilation systems and are able to work in accordance with workplace safety rules and construction norms and standards applicable in your country.
2. Disconnect the unit from the power supply before starting any installation or maintenance operations.
3. Only qualified electricians with a work permit for electrical units up to 1000 V are allowed to perform the installation.
4. Carefully read the user's manual before beginning the installation.
5. Check the unit for any visible damage to the impeller, casing, and grille before starting the installation. The casing internals must be free of any foreign objects that can damage the impeller blades.
6. Avoid compressing the casing while mounting the unit, as deformation of the casing may result in motor jam and excessive noise.
7. Do not attach the product to the support using glue or adhesives. Use only the fastening method specified in the user's manual.
8. The fan can be installed horizontally or vertically on the floor, wall, or ceiling. It can be installed independently or as part of a set with parallel or in-series connection.
9. Depending on the model, you may need to change the diameter of the spigots using adapters or rubber seals.
10. On the outlet (discharge) spigot side, install a duct with a length of at least 1 meter for horizontal installation or a canopy to prevent moisture from getting into the fan for vertical installation. The outlet spigot must always be connected to the air duct.
11. Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the user's manual to make the electrical connections.
12. Ensure that the unit is switched off from the power supply before removing the guard.
13. Precautions must be taken to avoid the back-flow of gases into the room from the open flue of gas or other fuel-burning appliances.
14. Once the installation is complete, reconnect the unit to the power supply and test its operation.
