To switch between the different operating modes of the ClimaRad S-Fan+ (with Heating Element) excluding the room thermostat, you can use the control panel on the bottom of the unit. Here are the steps for each mode:

1. Ventilate Only:
- Automatic Control: The ClimaRad S-Fan+ automatically controls room ventilation based on CO measurement and RV. To switch off the heating function, press the number 2 button.
- Manual Control: You can manually ventilate with outside air by setting your desired ventilation speed using the + and - buttons on the control panel. After 4 hours, the unit switches back to automatic control. This function is useful for summer night ventilation or when you want to lower the temperature in a heated room.

2. Heat and Ventilate:
- Heating: Activate this function to start heating the room. After 4 hours, the ClimaRad S-Fan+ switches back to automatic ventilation control. You can use the + and - buttons to select the duration of heating.
- Heating Rate: Increase or decrease the fan speed to heat the room faster or slower.
- Child Lock: Press and hold the three buttons for 4 seconds to enable the child lock when the heating mode is on.

3. Other Functions:
- Pause/Off: Use this function if you temporarily do not want to ventilate and/or heat. After 2 hours, the ClimaRad S-Fan+ switches back to automatic ventilation control. Press the button for 5 seconds to switch off the unit completely.
- Comfort Mode: The ClimaRad S-Fan+ preheats the outside air to 12ºC for a period of 8 hours.
- Air Quality: Increase or decrease the desired air quality level.
