To start the FIRMAN P03611 Gas Portable Generator, follow these steps:
1. Check for loose or missing parts and any damage that may have occurred during shipment.
2. Check the oil level and fuel.
3. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
4. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
5. Flip the engine switch to the "ON" position.
6. Move the choke lever to the "START" position.
7. Pull the starter cord slowly until resistance is felt and then pull rapidly.
8. As soon as the engine starts and warms up, move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
9. Allow the generator to run at no load for a few minutes to stabilize the engine and generator.
