To power up the ADVANCED LIVING SOLUTIONS IUI-SOL-TS5 2000/3000 5 Inches Hi-Res Colour Touch Screen Keypad and connect the battery, please follow these steps:
1. Open the metal box that contains the alarm circuit board using a Philips head screwdriver. The metal box is usually located in a walk-in robe or linen cupboard.
2. When you open the box, the alarm will go off, which is normal. To silence the alarm, enter 2580# or your master pin at the keypad.
3. Attach the battery leads to the battery. Make sure to connect the black lead to the black terminal and the red lead to the red terminal. It is crucial to get the polarity correct to avoid damage.
4. Close the metal box door. The alarm may go off again when doing this, so enter your master code again to silence it.
5. If not already done, plug in the alarm system power lead to the socket and turn on the power point.
