To set the timer for the hygger HG018 Aquarium Clip On Light, follow these steps:
1. Press the button to choose the daylight lighting time - 6H, 10H, or 12H. This will determine how long the light will be on during the day.
2. After setting the time to turn on the light, the brightness will simulate the sunrise (orange light from dark to bright), daylight (full spectrum white light), and sunset (orange light from bright to dark).
3. In the next day, the light will start running at the same local time when the DAY-L timer button was pressed on the first day. And in each subsequent day, the light will start running at the time set on the first day.
Please note that the brightness and color cannot be set under daylight lighting mode. The manual control mode can be used to change the brightness and color manually, but it will only work for a day.
For moonlight lighting settings, press the button for more than 3 seconds to enter the moonlight lighting mode. You can choose the color and brightness of the moonlight lighting, and also set the time duration for the moonlight.
