The hygger HG-949 Aquarium Mini Air Pump can be installed in two ways.
1. If you want to place the air pump below the surface of the water in the tank, you must install it with a check valve. This will prevent water from flowing back into the air pump.
2. Alternatively, you can place the air pump 25cm higher than the surface of the water in the tank to avoid water backflow.
To install the air pump with a check valve, follow these steps:
1. Connect the air pipe to the air pump.
2. Attach the check valve to the other end of the air pipe.
3. Place the air pump in the desired location below the water surface.
4. Ensure the check valve is positioned correctly to prevent water backflow.
