To properly clean the hygger Nano Furnace Flue Air Disk Stone, follow these steps:
1. Remove the air stone from the aquarium and disconnect it from the air pump.
2. Rinse the air stone under running water to remove any loose debris or algae.
3. Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing water and a mild aquarium-safe cleaner or bleach solution. Follow the instructions on the cleaner for the correct dilution ratio.
4. Submerge the air stone in the cleaning solution and let it soak for about 15-30 minutes.
5. Gently scrub the surface of the air stone with a soft brush or toothbrush to remove any stubborn algae or impurities.
6. Rinse the air stone thoroughly under running water to remove any traces of the cleaning solution.
7. Inspect the air stone for any remaining debris or blockages. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process.
8. Once the air stone is clean, reattach it to the air pump and place it back into the aquarium.
It is recommended to clean the air stone at least once a month or whenever you notice a decrease in air output. Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and prevents clogging.
