To connect the DOORsafe 3116 Temperature Humidity Sensor to the app, follow these steps:
1. Download the app and create an account.
2. Insert 3 AA batteries into the sensor.
3. Slide open the back cover of the sensor.
4. Press the button (6) on the sensor for 5 seconds until the WiFi symbol on the screen flashes quickly.
5. Press the button (6) on the sensor for 5 seconds again until the WiFi symbol on the screen flashes slowly.
(Note: It is recommended to choose the mode where the WiFi symbol flashes slowly for manual connection to the sensor's network.)
6. Go to the home screen of the app and press the "+" button to add a device.
7. Select "SENSORS" and then "SENSOR(WIFI)" in the app.
8. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
9. Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi password in the app.
10. Select "Confirm indicator is blinking rapidly" and then "Blink slowly".
11. Choose "Go to Connect".
12. Connect your smartphone to the SmartLife-XXXX WiFi network transmitted by the sensor.
13. Once connected, go back to the Smart Life app.
14. Monitor the progress in the app, which can take up to 2 minutes.
15. Once the addition to the app is successful, give the sensor a name.
