To ensure a proper fit and maximum protection, follow these steps:
1. Start by adjusting the fitting system to suit your head size. If the helmet doesn't fit comfortably, try a smaller or larger size.
2. Snap the buckle halves together and pull down on the loose ends of the strap to tighten. Alternatively, place your thumb under the buckle and lift it out from your jaw to loosen the strap.
3. Adjust the straps through the side wedges so that they sit just below your ears. Make sure there is even tension on the front and rear straps.
4. Once the helmet is securely fastened, grasp the helmet and try to rotate it to the front and rear. A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and should not move forward to obscure vision or rearward to expose the forehead.
