To connect your Mitsubishi WD570U DLP Projector to a computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer and the projector are both powered off.
2. Locate the computer input port on the back of the projector. It should be labeled "Computer 1" or "Computer 2" depending on the model.
3. Connect one end of the VGA cable (not included) to the computer's VGA output port.
4. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the computer input port on the projector.
5. If your computer has an HDMI output port and you prefer to use HDMI for the connection, you will need an HDMI-to-VGA adapter (not included). Connect the HDMI cable to the computer's HDMI output port and connect the VGA cable from the adapter to the computer input port on the projector.
6. Once the cables are securely connected, power on your computer and the projector.
7. On the projector's remote control, press the "Input" button to select the appropriate input source (Computer 1 or Computer 2) that matches the connection you made.
8. The projector should now display the content from your computer. Adjust the focus and other settings as needed using the projector's controls.
