To pair the Cree Lighting Connected Max LED bulb to the app, follow these steps:
1. Install the bulb in the socket and make sure it is turned on.
2. Download the Cree Lighting app from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Register an account on the Cree Lighting app using your email address and verification code.
4. Create a password for your account.
5. Enable location services and Bluetooth when prompted.
6. In the Cree Lighting app, tap the "+" sign in the upper right-hand corner of the Home screen.
7. The bulb you want to pair should appear on the screen. Tap "Next."
8. Select the Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to. If needed, enter the password for the network.
9. The Cree Lighting app will add your bulb to the app.
10. You can rename your bulb by tapping the pencil icon next to the name and then clicking "Done."
Note: Make sure you are connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as the bulbs are not compatible with 5GHz networks. If your router supports both bands but only one network is displayed on your phone, refer to the Wireless Router Guide provided in the manual for further assistance.
If the bulb is not flashing slowly during the pairing process, you may need to reset it. To reset the bulb, turn it off and on four times until it begins to slowly flash. Then, return to the pairing instructions and try again.
